Per G101, the Giants are very close to completing a trade with the Atlanta Falcons for star cornerback DeAngelo Hall. The Giants were, earlier this morning, rumored to be interested in sending their 1st round pick (31st overall) to the Falcons in exchange for Hall.
More recent rumors say that several other teams (all obviously having higher 1st round picks than the Giants) are also interested in sending 1st rounders to the Falcons for Hall as well. But the Giants have thrown in an unknown late round pick and are said to be very close to completing the deal.
DeAngelo Hall was the Falcons 1st round pick (8th overall) in 2004. He went to the pro bowl in 2005 as well as winning the NFL's Fastest Man competition while there in Hawaii. He considers himself a complete cornerback, not just a shutdown corner or run-stopping corner.
I will provide more of my opinons about Hall if we do, in fact, get the deal done.

Hall would be a great addition! I don't want to sell the future for a present tho... what do you think about this deal cuz?
Yeah, Hall would be nice. And I think he's worth the 1st round pick, but he's probably going to want a huge Asante-sized contract now...
